Some of the most important consumer questions arrive off-cycle and without an owner. That is the work DepthLine takes on.
Monica has spent her career translating consumer understanding into business decisions: on the agency side, where the craft of research is built, and on the client side, where that work has to survive contact with budgets, timelines, and competing priorities.
That combination is the point. She knows what good fieldwork requires and what a leadership team will actually do with the answer. It's the difference between a study that gets admired and a study that changes what the business does next.
She founded DepthLine Insights to make that judgment available directly, without the overhead of a large engagement, for teams that need more senior capacity, and to organizations building consumer understanding for the first time.
“Make complex learning clear enough to act on.”
What she believes about the work
Consumers are not a slide
Behind every data point is a person making a trade-off under real constraints. Work that forgets that produces conclusions the market doesn't cooperate with.
The best insight is often already in the building
New research is sometimes the answer. More often, the answer is reading what's already known more carefully and more honestly than anyone has had time to.
Rigor and usefulness are not in tension
Careful work and clear recommendations belong together. Precision that can't be acted on and confidence that isn't earned are both failures.
Work with Monica directly.
Every engagement is led personally, with no handoff to a bench, no account layer in between.
